Went to Harajuku on my recent trip to Japan, a significant fashion and shopping region in Tokyo, famous for its Harajuku Girls and Harajuku fashion ^^
I did not explore much of Harajuku, other than the Takeshita-dori – which is located just opposite Harajuku Station. Takeshita-dori is a long narrow pedestrian only street packed with fashion stores and cafes, which are aimed at the younger generation so you will see a load of fashionable folks/students after school hours.
To get to Harajuku, get off at Harajuku station on the JR line or get off at Omotesando station if you are on the Ginza, Chiyoda or Hanzomon line.
Have not tried the Mcdonalds burgers in Japan but it sure looks tasty.
Daiso Harajuku – one of the largest chain of 100 Yen shop. Has a variety of the products including kitchen items, stationary, small electronic devices and much more.
Entrance to store which sells nothing but idol related goodies.
I noticed that there are lots of crepe stalls in Takeshita dori, all of them looks yummy!
This a must visit store for all Evangelion fans – here you can find all the EVA apparels, gadgers & other kinds of merchandises. The store is located at one of the back alley in Takeshita dori, map below:
Stuffs up for sale at only 390 Yen, as I mentioned earlier a lot of the fashion stores are targeting the younger folks and students, so you can find lots of budget fashion apparels.
Store My Ducks – Hm…I wonder I should store mine ^^;
Here you can buy a ‘Lucky Box’ for 300 yen, which you have no idea of what’s inside the boxes. It could be a portable game console or just a bag of tissues ^^;
Pork Katsu lunch for about 1000 yen – nom nom nom!
Will be uploading a few more photos from my Japan trip soon. Meanwhile, more places to visit in Japan listed up here:
