Visited Ueno in Tokyo last month on a sunny day just to see some early blooms of cherry blossoms. Had a quick stroll around Ueno Park followed by a visit to Ameya Yokocho. All the photos here are taken on the Sony RX100-MKII camera.
It was in mid-March when I visited here so most of the sakura trees are not in full bloom.
Off to a small Inari shrine in Ueno Park.
Yakisoba (fried noodles) for 500 yen. nom nom nom.
Fishes on sticks for 600 Yen.
Heading off the Ameya Yokocho to grab some quick meals.
The last time I visited Ameyoko was in March last year – the food here is great and there are lots of stuffs to see & discover.
All the seafood donburi for under 1000 yen.
Went for the Tuna & fatty-tuna donburi – all this for 600 yen (It was cheap!).
